Camping Llanos del Salado

one of the highest Camping grounds in Gran Canaria.

The Camping area "Llanos del Salado" has capacity for only 10 people, in a booth or caravan (only with prior authorization https://cabildo.grancanaria.com/servicios?articleId=96814), but lacks any ypes of services like restrooms/wc or water. It is located in a very quiet place with impressive views of the north side of the island. It is located near another small camping area, that of "Altos del Pozo".

If you camp in a place at almost 1,800 meters above sea level, within a protected natural space. This protected space plays a fundamental role in the life of the island, since its north orientation and its altitude is fundamental in the collection of water through condensation in the wooded areas and its subsequent precipitation towards the ground, which makes that the insular aquifer is recharged.
